Ever see something broken and wonder if it still has a use? It might not be the use it was originally designed for, but who says usefulness can't evolve? What if, with some creativity and hard work,

My name is Kevin Dickey, and I got into recycled metal sculpture purely by accident.

Sometime around 2009, I was learning to weld behind my dad's workshop and I saw an old, rusted snow shovel lying in the dirt next to a broken pair of post hole diggers. Most people might see $0.50 in scrap metal. I saw a duck. I built a duck. I was hooked.

Life, time, and use...these don't have to destroy us, they merely define us. And that definition is changing all the time. Why should this only apply to people?

In a world where throwing things away and buying new ones is easier and cheaper than fixing it, isn't it refreshing to see something repurposed in such a way that tossing it out is not even an option?
